web-access MCP is Claude Code's web browsing capability, but the original had very limited Chinese website support — GB2312 pages displayed as garbled text, WeChat in-app browser environment couldn't be simulated, China-specific CDN and network conditions weren't considered. GoldBug edition comprehensively addresses these issues.
